I've finally figured it out properly.
How uni works.

I need to write that essay/report/assessment... Ohh, I need to do my washing up.
Ok, I should really start on tha... Oh, house needs some cleaning.
Right, essay.... Wait, there's something on TV I can't miss.
This time I'll do it... Oh after I've had some dinner of course.
Now, let's get to work.... Bugger it's 4am, I should sleep.

Rinse and repeat the following day.

Until 4 hours before it's due. Then panic.

I'll be lucky if I get that tonight. I've done 400 words of 2000 and it's due tomorrow. I don't think I'm sleeping.

Ermmmmmm. Well, the sleep isn't happening. The stress is driving me nuts. I want to scream but it's 2.30am and I don't think it would endear me to the neighbours...

Glad you got some sleep. Pink eye though... Well, that just sucks. Poor you.

11:30am here ... might as well be 2:30am though, it's hard to have the lights on because my eye is so sensitive >.< Part and parcel of having preschoolers, I swear. Luckily I nearly always have a bottle of antibiotics for it at the ready, since it comes through my house every couple of months, anyway @.@

Ahh yes, the things I've been told to look forward too if I ever make it through uni. Well, hope it's better soon.

And erm. Yeah, 600 words done. 1500 to go... It's been at that stage for about 8 hours now :/

Sounds like most of my university days. But I had the added joy of being a theatre major and was rehearsing and/or building sets (or working with my friends in the cinema dept) until 2 am.

Ohhh, that sounds... Yeah. Couldn't do it. Though the 2am part isn't the problem.
I mean I have to make up a 90 second dance that could be taught to kids by Tuesday so I can perform it.

It's amazing what you can do when you're 20 and don't know any better!! I once worked (as an actor) on a student film shoot that lasted 26 hours....I am not exagerrating.

What age are the kids? I used to do Creative Dramatics with 4 and 5 year olds!

I have to pick a stage to aim the dance at. 5 - 12 years.

My house mate told me to go check out Wiggles videos, and Hi-5 and all those things. I think he's onto something.
