Fringe is finally back!

And now is the first chance I've had to watch it. Finally.

First, just yay! It's back. I love this show and been missing it.

That said, I really really enjoyed this episode. Moving forward with the story it seems. And seriously it's great to see Walternate again. I've missed him. I am kind of fascinated by the alt-alt-Olivia's relationship with her Lincoln. Don't know how long we're going to have them around but it's an interesting dynamic for me.

I would really love to see the original Walter (and Olivia, Astrid and Broyles) again...
Anyway, very much enjoying this season, but it has been moving a bit slow. I'm kind of curious how long they will have Peter jumping around before letting him reach his original Olivia and Walter. And of course what will happen on the way. Seriously how boring would it be if everything went smoothly? Though given alt-Fringe Division don't seem to remember Peter either, it raises the question, if he gets back to his normal universe, are they going to remember? 
Nice touch with the Peter's mother being about to tell it's him. Kind of sweet.

One of the things that consistently amazes me about this show is the fact each actor has played or is playing at least 2 versions of the same yet slightly different character. While this could end badly all the actors seem capable of capturing the slightly different aspects of each alternates personalities, giving each one their own characters. Especially Anna Torv, she's playing 3 different versions of Olivia brilliantly.

Side note - loved this exchange. I don't know why, maybe just my sense of humour...

Lincoln: Umm, just out of curiosity, if this thing closes while I'm still crossing through, what happens?
Peter: It'll cut ya in half. I killed a guy like that once. Eh, don't worry, he was a bad guy.

Oh my goodness FRINGE. I just watched the episode. I actually believed going in to it that I would get some answers... nope, just a million new questions. DAVID ROBERT JONES? I mean seriously, it's been more than two years! Thank goodness I rewatched his S1 eps recently... although now that we're in universe number 4 (?!), who knows if what we saw before even matters. Does this mean that ZFT is coming back? Are we going to meet that similar-sounding terrorist group from the future timeline in the S3 finale? Is Amber-Alt!Broyles now the evil one, or is Amber-Walternate still lying?

Honestly, as sad as it would be for Peter, I'm still kind of hoping that the 'verses we've seen this season are just the original blue and red rewritten rather than two more distinct 'verses... it would be impossible to juggle four, particularly two almost identical pairs. Well, the show hasn't let me down so far, so I'm super excited to see what comes next :)

I KNOW! I was rather surprised to see him back too. It even took me a minute to remember who he was....
But yeah, they like to answer one question and give us 10 more at least. And seriously, I'm not trying to guess who's actually evil any more. It's too confusing.

I did wonder about if these 2 universes are the originals, but I wasn't sure. I mean it's definitely possible but no real way of knowing at this stage, given how much they like to mess with us.

Still, same here, can't wait to see what comes next!

It really is, the story is strange, confusing but fantastic. The characters are just wonderful and seriously if you don't kind of want Walter as an uncle of grandfather by the end you're doing well.

But really, it's a clever show with great characters. You should check it out :)
