Ok, so it's pointless, probably old, but I giggled when I read it. And ok, I pretty much completely agree with it. Does that make me a bad person?

Nope, just makes you a person with opinions. :)

I agree that RTD's era had much more emotional depth, but I'll admit that Matt Smith often makes me laugh (and Moffat certainly has a gift for one-liners, even though a few of them have made me cringe slightly).

Well, have been told I have too many opinions of course :P

I won't deny there has been some moments in S5/6 that have made me laugh and aww etc, but they have been few for me.
Moments that have made me cringe... There's been a fair few of those for me lately.

This does not bode well for me at all. I'm still immersed in the DT era...watching the specials very, very slowly so I can enjoy 10 as long as possible... :(

You never know, you may love S5/6. Plenty of people do. Me, just... Not so much. It's not that I don't like Doctor Who now. I just don't like it anywhere near as much.

Well, I am a big RTD fan and cringed through nearly every second of "Silence in the Library"...and I know River Song is huge in 5 & 6... :(

Weeeellll, SitL/FotD is the fault of Moffat sooo... Can't say I like those episodes much myself.

That's the catch, out of the episodes Moffat did before S5 I don't mind Blink but then it avoided the Doctor and Martha so.
Also don't hate TEC/TDD, mostly because they gave us Jack though, I do have some issues with other parts of those episodes though.

GitF and SitL/FotD? Bleh.

There's more than one?? Must resist urge to go find them all...

I've been going through that one over for a while. You get a nice range of confessions there, some are funny, some annoy me and some like that one... I just loved it :D

I'd say I hate you for telling me this, but I don't :P

Actually, I'm always thankful for more distractions at this stage so, thanks :)

Too funny and I agree totally. At it's heart DW has always been about people. Although the Moff has great comic talent, some of his subjects are just not funny. The squick factor has been very high in S5/6. A line has definitely been crossed that makes me very uncomfortable.

I love the whoniverseconfessions a lot! Thanks for sharing.

Moffat has ideas for stories which could be really good, but he can't write people really. And that's sad cause it means I don't really care about any of the characters any more :(
And I agree about the incredibly high squick factor in S5/6.

It does! Except for the popcorn bit. I tend to watch DW on my laptop, I have to resist the urge to throw it :P
