Bring on Day 15 - Hello Rose

Yep, that time again when I drive myself nuts trying to pick a favourite (or least favourite Who feature). I'd say I'm insane, but I never admit anything of the sort.

Sooooooo, Day 15 – Fave Rose Moment. Damnit, this is going to be tricky.



There are many Rose moments I love, some that make me giggle, some that make me smile, some that make me almost cry. But there is one moment that always moves me.





You don't know him. 'Cos he's not...
I'm telling you, he's-- he's not... and even if he was, how could I leave him? All on his own, all the way down there? No. I'm gonna stay. 

In The Satan Pit, when Rose refuses to leave while the Doctor is down in the pit. As RTD says, it also shows Rose at her most selfless, wanting to stay so the Doctor isn't alone, and her most selfish, that her thoughts are very single minded with no thought for anyone but her and the Doctor. It shows the strength she has gained over the time she's been with the Doctor.
I love that this moment also shows the faith Rose has in the Doctor (something he echoes with his faith in her), her first reaction is that he can't be dead. 

Oooo, that was nice and ramble-y. Oh well, too bad :P

I must admit, I can see where people who think we didn't see 'em in Love & Monsters is because they were 'busy' may be onto something, they are just waaaaaay too flirty (and look like they struggled to get dressed) in Fear Her ;)

But yes, I absolutely adore TIP/TSP and that moment with Rose is one of the reasons why. Just brilliant.
