Adam looked skeevy to me from the very beginning, no offense to the actor who plays him. XD I loved the handholding in the elevator♥
LMAO seriously? I didn't even notice the RickRoll, no matter how many times I've seen it. I've been too focused on the Doctor and Rose. /fail The Pete/Rose moments always kill me. "My Daddy" one still brings tears to my eyes. I love their connection, how Pete recognizes his daughter no matter when (and later on, what parallel world). I really loved seeing Rose and the Doctor having a real row in this episode. Like yeah, they've fought before but nothing this big. And then the sweetest moment in the church always makes me melt.
I think Moffat has specific thoughts on women and their roles. That women are needy, unlike men and he can't write women properly without attaching them to womany-roles, i.e. being mothers, or defining them through the men in their lives, i.e. when they eventually fulfill their lifelong womanly dreams by getting married. Which is why Rose turned into such a flustered airhead around Jack. :/
