But yeah I appreciate relationship problems extra abetween them, I just think they should have started ages ago and been about MORE than Amy's inability to have more kids. Like the fact Rory waited 2000 years and Amy still treated him like a stray dog a bit too often.

I definitely agree, the Doctor doesn't know how to handle a human relationship. He certainly wouldn't have any clue how to fix one. And is much more likely to run away than hang around and try to sort out the mess. Especially if he's in some way responsible.
