Game of Thrones and Fringe are back!!

1. Yes, I know Fringe has been back for 2 weeks, but that's a minor detail.

2. It's not that I'm ridiculously over excited by this or anything... But seriously *does happy dance* (I choose not to consider the sad and sorry state of my life that I'm am so ridiculously happy about the return of TV shows).

3. This weeks Once Upon a Time was great.

Game of Thrones
I admit, I'm glad I waited so long to watch the first season for only one reason. It mean I didn't have it wait as long for the second season to start. Which is now has. And so far, I'm not disappointed. Ok, the episode might have been more of a set up for the season but it was well done. But then I've got to say, this show is always well done. Anyway, in a show with this many threads to the story, I can see the need for an episode like this.

The Starks are spread everywhere. Robb and his interaction with Jaime was rather interesting (and the wolf...want...). Jon is north of the Wall and stuck around the creepiest guy ever. But I think the girls are suffering the most. Arya is still hiding and Sansa is stuck with the most psychotic teenager there has ever been. Mind you, could probably make some comment about incest, but that could be ruse. On the whole, the Lannisters just seem to be slightly twisted. Though, Tyrion is a rather fascinating character.

But really, I still absolutely love Daenerys. Her character has become so strong and determined, but she still needs support. There's a sort of fierce side to her you see when it comes to protecting the people and creatures she cares about.

Can't wait to see the next episode.

Fringe
So the past 2 episodes. Let's be honest 4x15 - A Short Story About Love had something going on, but mostly there was just the me cheering at Olivia and Peter getting sorted out!

Yes, I adore them. It's complicated and adorable and I just wanted them back together, no matter how adorable Lincoln can be. Was very intrigued by the part November played in getting them back together. Mind you, November just tends to fascinate me.

This weeks episode 4x16 - Nothing As It Seems was interesting, given it was in a sense a rewrite of a season one episode. Which did allow the whole memory issue of Olivia's to come into play. Of course, like any Fringe episode, it does raise a question or 3, one of which is what was with the creatures in cages at the end?

Aside from that, there's Walter celebrating having his 'family' back together. A family which now seems to have expanded to include Lincoln. Seriously, I do love Walter. How anyone could not want him for a grandfather, uncle, crazy neighbour even, is beyond me. He's just so much fun.

I'd have more to say on Fringe, but my brain is shutting down. Finally (only took until 5.30am).

Once Upon a Time
Quick note on this one. The new episode... Like that we're starting to learn about Regina. Especially, part of why she hates Snow/Mary so much. Mind you, wondering who's responsible for the reappearance of Katherine....
Also, August is a strange one. He obviously knows a lot more than he's letting on, but what's his angle?
And as always, what is Rumple up to?
